Eclipse Systems operates on Discord and depends on Discord's platform, APIs, interactions, application commands, permissions, gateway events, and related developer services.

Eclipse Systems is not Discord. Eclipse Systems is not owned by Discord, operated by Discord, endorsed by Discord, sponsored by Discord, or officially affiliated with Discord unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Discord.

Use of Eclipse Systems does not replace, override, modify, or supersede Discord's own Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms of Service, Developer Policy, or other applicable Discord rules.

Eclipse Systems is designed to collect and store only the information necessary to provide its features and services.

Depending on the features used, Eclipse Systems may store certain Discord-related information, including:

Discord Server (Guild) IDs.
Discord Channel IDs.
Economy balances and transaction data.
Level and experience information.
Inventory, item, and reward data.

Eclipse Systems temporarily processes certain Discord information when responding to commands, handling interactions, and operating automated features. Depending on the feature, some information may also be stored persistently as described in Section 5.

Where the Bot produces game outcomes, values, rewards, balances, levels, pet battle results, crime-themed results, or gambling-style results, those outcomes are part of a fictional Discord game experience and have no real-world monetary value unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by the Bot operator.

Eclipse Systems does not operate real-money gambling, does not provide casino services, and does not provide financial services.

Server owners are responsible for deciding whether entertainment features, gambling-style game mechanics, or crime-themed game mechanics are appropriate for their community and comply with Discord's rules and applicable law.

8. ECONOMY SYSTEM

Eclipse Systems may provide an in-server entertainment economy system.

The economy system is intended solely for fun, fictional, and community-based interaction.

Any coins, credits, currency, points, rewards, balances, items, inventory entries, or economy values produced by Eclipse Systems:

Are fictional.
Are for entertainment only.
Have no guaranteed real-world value.
Are not legal currency.
Are not cryptocurrency.
Are not financial instruments.
Are not redeemable for money unless separately and lawfully stated by the Bot operator.
Are not intended for investment, trading, speculation, or financial use.

The economy system stores Discord User IDs and gameplay-related information, including virtual currency balances, transactions, inventory contents, purchased items, and relevant progression data. This information is retained as necessary to maintain users' virtual economy progress and provide persistent economy functionality.

9. LEVEL SYSTEM

Eclipse Systems provides an automated leveling system that tracks eligible server activity and awards experience points (XP). The system stores Discord User IDs, Server IDs, XP balances, levels, progression statistics, and relevant leveling settings.

Depending on server configuration, the Bot may also retain leveling records for members who leave a server, maintain leaderboards, and assign configured reward roles. Message activity is processed to calculate XP, but the leveling system does not require permanent storage of every message's full text.

Leveling information is used to provide progression, rank cards, leaderboards, rewards, and other configured features. It is not collected for advertising or unrelated behavioral profiling.

10. PET BATTLE SYSTEM

Eclipse Systems may provide pet battle features, including fictional pets, battles, actions, outcomes, rewards, or progression.

Pet battle features are intended solely for entertainment.

The pet system stores information necessary to maintain users' virtual pets and gameplay progress. Depending on the enabled features, this may include Discord User IDs, pet ownership, pet attributes, progression, cooldowns, and related gameplay information. This data is retained as necessary to provide persistent pet functionality.

11. CRIME-THEMED GAME FEATURES

Eclipse Systems may include fictional crime-themed game mechanics.

These features are intended only as roleplay, entertainment, or game mechanics within Discord.

Crime-themed commands do not encourage, instruct, facilitate, or endorse real-world crime, fraud, theft, violence, harassment, or unlawful conduct.

Users may not use Eclipse Systems to plan, promote, coordinate, or facilitate real-world illegal activity.

Crime-themed features may store gameplay-related information, including Discord User IDs, fictional rewards, cooldowns, and relevant progression or economy data. Such information is used exclusively to operate the Bot's fictional entertainment features.

12. GAMBLING-STYLE GAME FEATURES

Eclipse Systems may include gambling-style entertainment mechanics, such as risk-based games, chance-based outcomes, wagers using fictional Bot currency, or randomized rewards.

These features are intended solely for fictional, in-server entertainment.

Eclipse Systems does not provide real-money gambling.

Eclipse Systems does not allow users to wager real money through the Bot.

Eclipse Systems does not provide cash prizes, real-world financial payouts, or financial gambling services.

Any gambling-style feature must use fictional Bot currency, fictional points, or other non-cash entertainment values unless expressly and lawfully stated otherwise by the Bot operator.

Server owners are responsible for ensuring that gambling-style features are appropriate for their server, their users, Discord's policies, and applicable law.

Gambling-style features may store fictional currency balances, gameplay statistics, cooldowns, and other information necessary to maintain gameplay. These features use virtual in-game currency and are not intended for real-money gambling. Stored information is used only to operate the Bot's entertainment and economy systems.

13. MESSAGE CONTENT

Eclipse Systems processes message content when necessary to provide its automated entertainment, leveling, achievement, and community engagement features.

The Bot may access message text, attachments, embeds, and relevant message metadata for features such as XP tracking, achievement detection, counting games, automatic AFK handling, and configured speech transformations. These features require processing ordinary server messages as they are created.

Most message content is processed temporarily and is not permanently stored. However, certain features require persistent storage. For example, the Vault system stores user-submitted messages or GIF URLs in the Bot's PostgreSQL database for scheduled reveals. Relevant identifiers and timestamps are also stored. Delivered messages may remain in the database until removed through applicable deletion or cleanup procedures.

The Bot may also receive user-submitted content through slash commands, buttons, menus, and other Discord interactions. Such information is processed or stored only as necessary to provide the requested functionality.

Persistent data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL. Access to stored data is restricted to authorized backend services, and the database provider provides encryption at rest.

Eclipse Systems does not use message content for advertising, resale, unrelated profiling, or unrelated analytics. Message content is processed only for the Bot's intended functionality and is retained only as necessary for the relevant feature, subject to applicable retention and deletion procedures.

Users may request deletion of their stored data through the official support channels identified in this Privacy Policy.

14. DIRECT MESSAGES

Eclipse Systems does not permanently store direct messages.

If the Bot supports direct-message interactions, any content received through such interactions is processed only as necessary to respond to the user's request and is not retained as a permanent user record by Eclipse Systems.

Users should not send passwords, tokens, payment information, private addresses, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information to Eclipse Systems.

15. IP ADDRESSES AND GEOLOCATION

Eclipse Systems does not collect IP addresses.

Eclipse Systems does not provide moderators, administrators, server owners, server staff, or the Bot owner with access to user IP addresses or geolocation data.

Eclipse Systems retains only the information reasonably necessary to provide its features, services, and community functionality.

Stored information may include Discord User IDs, Server IDs, economy balances, level progress, inventories, pet data, cooldowns, server settings, birthday information, and other data required for the continued operation of Eclipse Systems.

Data is retained only for as long as it remains necessary for operation of the Bot, maintenance of features, prevention of abuse, security purposes, or compliance with applicable legal obligations.

Birthday information voluntarily submitted by users is retained only while the user remains a member of at least one Discord server actively using Eclipse Systems. When a user leaves all servers using Eclipse Systems, associated birthday information may be automatically deleted during routine cleanup processes.

Some limited technical information may also exist in hosting logs, crash reports, diagnostic systems, temporary caches, or runtime processes. Such information is used solely for operation, debugging, security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

The Bot operator may periodically remove inactive, obsolete, unnecessary, or orphaned data to maintain performance, reliability, and efficient operation of the Service.

21. SERVER OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES

Server owners and administrators who add Eclipse Systems to a Discord server are responsible for:

Informing users that Eclipse Systems is active where appropriate.
Configuring Bot permissions responsibly.

Ensuring that gambling-style game features are lawful and appropriate.
